The Bristol Book Fair returns to The Passenger Shed this summer for its fifth year.

Over 90 dealers from around the country gather in the city for two days to sell rare, antiquarian, and second-hand books, prints, maps and ephemera. The fair is a joint venture organised by the PBFA and the ABA, the two leading associations in the rare book trade. It’s a once-a-year chance for book-lovers and collectors to browse and buy from the biggest book fair in the South-West; with prices ranging from a few pounds upwards there is something for everyone.

This year some excellent food and drinks will be supplied by two wonderful local businesses – The Bristol Loaf, an artisan sourdough bakery, and Rolling Italy who brew extract coffee and make artisan gelato.

Local print artist Alex Goodman will be running a drop-in print workshop on the Saturday afternoon, giving visitors the exciting opportunity to print their own bookplate.
